Firefighter Calculator includes calculation tools for determining discharge pressure for firefighting pumps, foam application rates and amounts, critical application rate/flow estimation, and pressure and flow rates for smooth bore nozzles. The Fire Pump Discharge Pressure Calculator handles multiple attack and supply line setup, calculates friction loss, and determines proper pump pressure and estimated reach. With the Foam Application Calculator, you enter in the area and depth of spill along with concentration and type of foam being used, and the app will calculate the needed amount of concentrate and water. The Critical Application Rate Calculator determines the minimum flow rate to extinguish fire in less than 10 seconds. The Smooth Tip Calculator calculates solves for pressure or flow after you enter in the nozzle tip size and either pressure or flow rate.
