The Pentax Optio LS-1000′s 14-megapixel sensor produces high resolution still images, with pin-sharp details and bright colours.
For filming video, there’s a 720p HDTV movie mode where you can shoot footage at a rate of up to 30 frames per second.
The LS-1000′s 3-inch LCD display features 230,000-pixel resolution for lining up and reviewing shots.
There are several powerful automatic shooting modes to choose from, including the Auto Picture mode, which takes the guesswork out of great photography.
Face and smile detection is also available on the Pentax Optio LS1000 to give you a helping hand with portraits.
